I want to get a bird, but I may be moving into an apartment in a couple years so I need a bird on the quiet side. I have a cat and a dog and there are young kids that visit, so I want a friendly bird. Any suggestions?

I have read that chinchilla’s are suppose to make some noises, like little chattering and barking sounds. My chinchilla is completly quiet. I think i have only heard him make noise the first night I had him a couple months ago. I am worried that he is unhappy or sick.

I have this really noisy bird next door to me that wakes me up every morning when I’m sleeping. I need suggestions on how I can ask the owner to keep it quiet. I have already had a talk with him twice, but nothing has been done.
